RSVP.church – Free Registration for Church Services and Events
With ever-changing Covid-related restrictions, churches often find themselves needing to limit the number of people attending each gathering.
Sure, you can set up a registration process with Google Forms, or inside your church management system, but sometimes you need something quicker and simpler, and of course, free!
RSVP.church is a website that allows people to sign up for your limited-attendance gathering, and emails each person a confirmation of their RSVP.
You can set the date, time, and maximum number of people for each event. Your people will be asked for their name, email address, and the number of people that will be attending with them. You can choose to ask for their phone number and/or whether they have Covid-19.
RSVP.church provides you with a unique permanent website that displays all of your upcoming events. Just link to it from your own website or app, and your people will be able to sign up anytime, any place!
On the admin side, when you log in you’ll be able to see the people signed up, and print out the list of registrants. You can also edit and delete registrations as needed. You can’t add new registrations on the admin side, but you can easily add new ones on the front-facing form that everyone else uses.
If you’re looking for further customizations, they are available for a monthly fee. But if you’re looking for something quick and simple, the free version is more than enough!
In our small church situation, we have limited seating capacity, but we also have to do contact tracing and active screening for those that attend. We combine RSVP.church with our own in-house Check In process to cover all our bases. It works really well for us, and has reduced our administrative time quite a bit.
What do you use for limited-seating registrations? What do you like most about it?
